Beautiful vintage turntable setup from the early 1980s, from Technics of Japan.

Model SP-10 mk2, this is a high end professional turntable built for broadcasting purposes, and was acquired from a radio studio. The radio station decals are still present but are removable.

The original Technics power supply unit is included, as well as the original Syntec tonearm, ready to mount with all necessary hardware.

Also included are a Technics EPC-271 headshell mounted cartridge with good needle, and a brand new audiophile quality DIN to RCA cable.

Nothing has been done to the turntable other than a polish of the angled platter face, and a dust down.

It has been plugged in to test operating status and is confirmed as working perfectly at correct speed.

The turntable body is in need of a cleanup, and the thin strip of acrylic is missing from the forward edge, but a replacement will not be difficult to make. The body has some marks and scratches, but would come up nicely with a re-brushing of the metal.

Original platter mat is present.

This is a used piece of professional studio equipment and is ready for use as-is, or could be restored to the owner’s content.

Sold as is, it will be very safely packed for damage free transit. All parts will be double boxed with a lot of bubble wrap and foam packing material.

Happy to post worldwide, the equipment operates on internationally selectable voltage, but buyers please acknowledge that this is a 240V power cable designed for Australian use.
