Peace of mind and safety with pure Japanese production.
Charcoal produces little smoke, burns for a long time, and has strong firepower.
We always use it when we have an indoor grill party or BBQ with Japonisme-Trading staff!
(We have tried dozens of types of Oga charcoal and binchotan, but in the end, we have settled on and prefer using this particular item.)
Because it produces minimal smoke and odor, it is used in 'High-end traditional Japanese restaurants' and 'specialized Yakiniku (Japanese barbecue) shops' to fully bring out the original flavors of the ingredients.
- Burning time: 2 to 3 hours!!
- Fuji Oga Charcoal uses domestic raw materials, resulting in minimal smoke from the charcoal itself.
- It brings out the true taste of the ingredients.
- It can be used indoors (please ventilate periodically).
*Charcoal that produces strange smoke or odor may have impurities or high moisture content.
Fuji Oga Charcoal is made from sawdust produced in Ehime Prefecture.
- It provides a more stable heat compared to traditional wood charcoal.
cheap imported charcoal, it produces very little smoke and odor, allowing you to savor the true taste of your dishes.
- Recommended for indoor use in fireplaces and hearths (ensure proper ventilation) and for outdoor barbecues.
- The sawdust is compacted under high pressure, resulting in a relatively hard finished product without the use of adhesives. This natural process contributes to minimal smoke and odor.
- Compared to lower-priced charcoal, it has an exceptionally long burning time, reducing the need for frequent refueling.
- Depending on conditions such as wind, it can maintain strong heat for around 3 hours, making it surprisingly economical.
*Note: While it is hard and has a long burning time, it may be a bit challenging to ignite initially. Adding a small amount of regular wood charcoal can facilitate ignition. It can also be ignited using a gas burner or similar methods.
