Notes on Shipping Charges

MK Services DOES NOT seek to make profit on any shipping charges but buyers must appreciate that there are significant costs for packaging materials which we make a nominal charge for.

Royal Mail Standard Small Parcels are only covered for loss to a limit of £20 GBP; items above this amount up to a limit of £50 GBP must be sent Signed For or Tracked in order to be properly covered; above this amount there are extra charges as well. Full cover is in our opinion prudent for both the buyers and sellers mutual protection. There is no ‘partial compensation’ for under insured items. SF costs approx. £5.30 extra pro rata.

We are happy to ship without Signed For at buyers own risk and will require consent for this by email before shipping.

We will always obtain a written Proof of Posting Slip at this end but this is not trackable.

International buyers should be aware that any item that exceeds the 2kg Small Airmail Packet weight limit will be SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive to ship and they should take care to investigate these costs BEFORE bidding.

This should also be borne in mind when asking for multiple items to be consolidated in one shipment. We are always happy to advise and discuss these costs at any time.

We are also happy to refund any postage costs that we have miscalculated once the item actually ships.

In view of the large number of 'missing' or 'lost in post' items when sent to countries like Italy, Brazil and Russia, we reserve the right to insist on Signed For Shipping at our discretion

USA buyers please note that as of 1st July 2020 Royal Mail has increased Airmail Small Parcel shipping costs to the USA by approximately 50% as US POST has drastically increased the "last mile" postal costs for foreign mail.

Along with the 10% of all shipping that EBay takes from sellers, this has made shipping to the USA a LOT more expensive!

PLEASE NOTE: Prices shown for USA shipping are for Royal Mail Small Parcel Standard Airmail service up to 2kg in weight and item value cover of £20 GBP. This service is NOT tracked but we will have a proof of posting slip at this end.Items over this value must be sent SIGNED FOR & TRACKED service which costs an extra £5.30 for full cover to £50 GBP. Please allow for these costs when bidding.
