This sweet little hanging holy water font in cast and worked sheet pewter dates from the early 1800's and measures5" tall (2 3/4" x 3 1/2" cup alone).  It was cleaned over 30 years ago to remove lime and brighten the surface and now has a pleasing mellow surface.  You will note bends and I see no bad dents, splits, holes or obvious repairs.  The openwork cast back bears a crown hallmark.
