Murano Barbini Glass Hanky Vintage Classic Gold Sprinkles Bubbly 5"x6": Superb!

This is a beautiful handkerchief vase by Barbini purchased in Italy c1975. May have been new then. There is no damage and it has a typical Barbini outie bellybutton pontil mark. Translucent lattimo with so many gold sprinkles and gold rimmed controlled bubbles that is glows gold a bit. Very subtle and the vase was thrown without the drama of his friend Bianconi. Barovier preferred this style also. The Gritti Palace hotel in Venice was my mom's favorite; they had associated shops for everything Venetian where she could just say her name and room number

to pay. The shops were nearby so she couldn't get lost shopping as well as sightseeing. The Gritti's glass shop was a few buildings away but close enough to walk with your purchases to your room if desired. Or they would arrange shipping stuff home.  This is a wonderful piece that would go with everything.

We also have a pair of Barbini cologne/vases she bought at the same time. We lost the stoppers which looked like leaves. See the last photo; they are ribbed so not a set with this hanky.
