Sandre Benjaminson was a very popular New York artist. She moved with her family to California in the mid 1960's. While in New York she sold her paintings at the summer art shows in Greenwhich Village and private showings. After moving to California she had one man shows at several galleries in Laguna Beach and Hollywood. Sandre has since passed. She was not able to paint for the last few years prior to her passing. I, her daughter, am selling her paintings to continue to celebrate her life as an artist. This drawing is ready for matting or framing. It is approximately 20" high by 15" wide. It was created in the late '80's.
It was drawn with soft pencil.
She was known for her "Moods in Oil" and also loved to sketch with pencil, ink and charcoal.
