1863 $2 The Bank of De Soto note from De Soto, Nebraska. 

This bank operated from 1857 until it failed in 1862. These notes that were dated 1863 were filled out but never officially put into circulation. 

This note features a detailed Vignette of the steamboat DE SOTO above the bank title. A train Vignette is printed in an oval to the left and Ceres sits in an oval to the bottom right. A large "TWO" protector is in green at the bottom!

This note is PMG Graded Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ (Exceptional Paper Quality).
