Amazing Spider-Man Adventures in Reading #1!
Rare 1990 Promo Comic Book! Intro Troglodyte!

This auction is for Amazing Spider-Man Adventures in Reading #1! This first issue comic book was published by Marvel Comics in 1990! It is a rare promotional issue featuring the Amazing Spider-Man and the first appearance of the Troglodyte! Spider-Man appears in front of a library in pursuit of a villain called the Troglodyte, who has stolen an invention called a transporter. The transporter sends Spider-Man and three kids through the fictional worlds of The Lost World, The War of the Worlds, The Jungle Book, That Was Then, This Is Now, and Ivanhoe. As shown in the photos, the comic book is a nice clean copy with very little cover wear, probably in very fine to near mint condition. The comic book is complete and remains securely stapled from its cover to its centerfold. It has nice clean pages with no writing, creases, rips, or tears. This vintage Spider-Man promotional comic book would make a great addition to your collection!

Take a look at the photos of the comic book to best judge its condition. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the comic book, pictures or shipping before bidding. Please pay within 3 days of auction end, and I'll ship the comic ASAP, usually within 2 days of payment received.

Thank you for your business! Every item I sell is guaranteed to be as described, and I do everything possible to provide 5 STAR service. If you are satisfied, please leave 5 Star positive feedback. If you are not fully pleased, let me know if there is anything I can do to improve the transaction before leaving any feedback. Almost all items are vintage: they were purchased at estate sales/auctions, yard/garage sales or flea markets, and are sold “as found”; the history of previous ownership and storage conditions of the items is unknown, and I have no idea if a previous owner smoked or had pets. I do not accept returned items simply because you’ve changed your mind. Shipping & Handling charges are not refundable. Attention International Customers: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s Customs Office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. I do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as “gifts” since US and international government regulations prohibit such behavior.
