This is the shift tower bracket for a 02J VW transmission. It was removed from a 2001 VW New Beetle with the transmission code EGT.

This shift tower is compatible with the round push on shift cable ends of earlier model years. It is not compatible with the the square shift cable ends that are secured with a clip.

This was removed from a New Beetle and will fit other cars with the 02J transmission like Jetta and Passat.
