Antique Japanese Edo Era 1800's Imari Ceramic Bowl Lucky God & Crane 11"

This is an antique Japanese late Edo Era (c. 1860) Imari ceramic bowl. It is all hand painted with a design that features one of the Seven Lucky Gods - Fukurokuji - depicted riding his magical crane. Other very auspicious shapes and designs on the inside and outside edges. The bowl is made with high fired ceramics for lasting durability.

Having been in storage for most of the past century this bowl remains in very fine condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. Some wear on the gold helps indicate the age and authenticity.
