This is an antique early Taisho Era (c.1912) Aochibu Kutani Charger Japanese ceramic depicting a scean from the Kamkura era 1300. Raised details indicative of the Aochibu style can be seen in the pictures.
It measures 15 1/2" in diameter by 2" tall and weighs 6lbs 12oz.
