A plat map of downtown Nashville, Tennessee and the surrounding area, originally published in 1908 by G. M. Hopkins Company, showing the various buildings, landscapes, acreage, and street routes for several blocks bound by Howerton Street, the Cumberland River, Shelby Avenue and east of Second Street.  Original building structures are depicted on the map, such as American National Bank, Crescent Tobacco Company, Union Lumber Company, Model Laundry, Nashville Laundry Dry Cleaning Company, a roller rink, Tulip Street Church Mission and Annie M. Smith Memorial Chapel.  Portions of the Louisville and Nashville Railroad Company are also depicted. Original building structures are depicted on the map, such as Boscobel College, a school for young ladies, and the Cedar Lumber Yard and much more. This plat map source: Atlas of the city of Nashville, Tennessee: from official records, private plans and actual surveys, G.
