Claireview Stock Farm  –  Supplementary Catalogue  --  Season of 1891

Catalogue of 16 stallions and mares available for inspection—“standard and fashionably bred trotting horses.”  For each horse there is a several-generation pedigree and a description of the horse’s family and merits.  Claireview Stock farm was located on the Grosse Pointe Road in Wayne County, Michigan.  The head stallion was Antevolo 7648.  This “Supplementary Issue” updates the previous catalogue.

40 pages, 1 ill. on back cover (Antevolo, drawn by Frank Whitney).  Softcover.  Apparently removed from a bound volume, with old stab holes in inside margins.  Covers lightly browned.  Sturdy, clean, complete.  Printed with marginal decorations in red.
