1973 Lightweight Series 111 Land Rover.

With a galvanised chassis and diesel Discovery 200TDI  engine with overdrive and a Kenlowe fan, this lightweight is a very useful and reliable tax and M.O.T. exempt  vehicle that has never been off road in my tenure and is great fun to drive, both in summer and winter !

It is maintained to M.O.T. standard by a local Land Rover specialist garage and I carry out regular greasing and filter/oil changes and drive less than 500 miles a year.

New inertia reel seatbelts are fitted in the front and under the almost ‘as new’ canvas top there are lap straps in the rear. The bulkhead is in generally very good condition.

The vehicle comes with easily a £1000 worth of increasingly rare and expensive spares (see photos) which include a new fuel tank, drive shafts, lights, a new pick & shovel and enough of the correct spec paint for a respray, plus much much more. Also included will be a large stack of manuals and spare parts catalogues & CD’s.

As with any Land Rover of this age there will always be some room to improve, and originally registered as 22FM22 (BMI Heritage Trust certified) this rare vehicle comes with everything and more that could be wished for an enthusiast with little basic knowledge to bring up to top class condition.
