This car was used extensively during 1967 in a number of long distance endurance races with mixed success but did not always carry the racing number 1.
This model portrays the car driven by Mike Spence & Phil Hill in the BOAC International 500 / Brand Hatch 6hr Race held on the 30th July 1967. Having started 3rd on the grid they went on to take 1st place by the end of the race. Jim Hall was also part of the driver lineup for this race but never got to drive.
