such as Waterburys'. The black and white photographs of many of the lots are invaluable
for research purposes.

It is easy to see why many consider this to be one of the most important philatelic auctions
of the 20th century.

Perfect bound paperback, with tight binding.  Front cover has a vertical crease extending 
its entire length.  Most of the pages have water stains in the lower right corner which do
not extend into the printed portion of the pages.

Includes printed list of prices realized, but conveniently, most all prices realized are noted
in light pencil next to each lot number in the catalogue.
