Up for auction is a vintage Schacht Spindle weaving award for excellence in hand weaving. This wooden shuttle curved boat is 11" long. On one end of the shuttle is a group of etched sheep in the wood. Also, a picture of E. E. Gilmore is in the bottom of the boat as they attached a wood piece. This seems to be a very rare shuttle that shows the history of weaving.
