Original Big Drawing Painting Michael Palmer Artist Gay Leather Interest c.1980s. Unfinished portrait. Post workout athlete with sweatband. Very evocative. Mixed media: airbrush and acrylic with pencil under drawing. Palmer once had an extensive body of work, most of which he held in his Mills Valley studio. When he died in the middle of the AIDS plague years, his horrified mother destroyed everything. Because of this, his work is now very rare. This came from a portfolio of work I bought about 12 years ago that included Michael Palmer, Stephen Stafford and other Leather adjacent artists of note.
