Here we have a Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends Wooden Railway Useful Engine Shed. An Engine Shed is a location where a railway locomotive (engine) goes home to at night, to be cleaned, readied for tomorrow, and get some well-earned sleep. The shed has a magnetic door that can close, and a red lever that, when moved, will move the engine out of the door. And to make sure that the train won’t get stuck, the see-through roof is removable. In particular, this is the version of the shed that was available in the Transfer Yard Set from 2009-2010, so it has a rare red roof (the roof on the regular version is gray)
