Item: Victorian 1844 English Sterling silver Spoon William Robert Smiley.  Antique Victorian Sterling silver spoon dating from 1844, London. The spoon has been monogrammed to one end obviously commissioned by a wealthy Victorian family of the era.  Sleek neck leading to square collar, the bowl is actually in the shape of an egg spoon but this is much larger probably used for desert or afternoon tea.  The bowl has much dimpling to centre please see photos still a nice Victorian piece, for the collector or investor of fine Victorian flatware. Good maker.

Hallmarks: Makers Mark WRS Date Letter f 1844, Lion .925 Sterling Silver Finest, Queen Victoria’s side cameo portrait.  Leopard London.
