DIRECT DRIVE LED Headlight/Mini-Generator Combo For Motorized Bikes/Bicycles
This is a self sufficient, 6 Volt LED Headlight driven by 6 Volt Mini-Generator.
System is designed to work with all 2 cycle motorized bicycles.
System includes a high power LED Headlight, a 6 Volt Mini-Generator and a light switch.
The headlight has built-in amperage regulator to protect the LED bulb.
The Headlight is custom made from polyvinyl chloride material with one high power 3 Watt Star LED bulb.
Headlight is a sealed unit for weather resistance; color is "light champagne metallic".
This headlight has only one wire for power connection; it's grounded through the metal bracket.
Headlight works on AC (Mini-Gen) volts but can also be used with 6 volt battery with 1 amp inline fuse.
This system includes a SPDT light switch (mounted on left handle bar).
The switch includes a ground wire which sends Mini-Gen output to ground when turned off; this neutralizes the Min-Gen when light is turned off and promotes smoother operation.
Also included is a 30 inch length of red wire to connect Mini-Gen to light switch.

Installing the Mini-Generator is simple, and all instructions are included.
Just remove the engine magneto cover and install Mini-Gen as seen in photo.
This is a newly improved Mini-Gen which works better for directly driving this LED light.
This HVO (High Voltage Output) generator is designed to simply supply the required 6 volts at a lower idle speed.
Headlight has a built-in amperage regulator to protect LED under high speeds.
Installation and operating instructions are included.
6 Volt LED Headlight
After installing the Mini-Generator and switch, the headlight can now be installed as seen in photo.
This is a 6 volt LED headlight designed to run with our 6V MIni-Gen, but can also be used with 6V battery with inline 1 amp fuse.
Do not use a 12 volt battery with this headlight.
This LED headlight will safely tolerate up to 7 volts.
This headlight is custom made from polyvinyl chloride (plastic like) material and includes an external light switch which can be mounted on left handle bar.
A domed shape glass cover is used and will provide some peripheral vision to side approaching traffic.
An extra piece of wire (approx. 30 inches long) is provided for connection between Mini-Gen and switch.
The black (ground) wire from light switch is grounded directly to metal clamp and headlight is grounded through handle bar metal.
If your handle bar is insulated, simply connect a ground cable from headlight clamp to bike front fork crown (extra ground cable not included).
Headlight size is approximately 2 inch diameter x 2 inches deep.

The black oil mark on the street is approximately 30 feet ahead.
This headlight/Mini-Gen is designed for high output at lower idle speeds.
The LED headlight uses a high power Star LED bulb rated at 3 Watts.
This headlight will outperform most regular bicycle dynamo type 6 volt headlights.
LED bulbs are designed to last for thousands of hours, unlike regular light bulbs which blow out easily because of vibration.
LED light bulbs are more efficient than regular light bulbs because they don't waste a lot of energy producing heat.

Flat rate shipping & handling price is available for the continental USA. Shipping & handling might also be the same for other states outside the continental United States. This item will normally ship within 2 business days, but could take up to 5 business days. Items will be shipped to the address provided for transaction. Request to change shipping address after item is shipped will be ignored.

INTERNATIONAL
shipment of these products are available to international customers but with slightly higher fees. These slightly higher fees are deemed necessary to cover the inherent risks involved in shipping products overseas which don't include precise delivery confirmation and can sometimes get lost. United States Postal Service (USPS) First Class Mail is usually the lowest rate but no tracking number is provided, however you will be notified when item ships.
USPS Priority Flat Rate is sometimes a cheaper rate depending on the product involved. There is also no precise tracking number available for this service except to sometimes to indicate when the item is enroute to your country; however you will be notified when item ships.
USPS EXPRESS MAIL is the only US Postal Service which provides complete tracking but cost much more than the other services. Multiple shipping options will be offered with each product.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING TIME Most items shipped internationally will arrive within 10 to 14 business days but could take up to 28 days total based on customs delays in your country and/or holiday schedules. Please allow at least 21 days before contacting me about package arrivals.
