Buttercup Original Cough Syrup uses a non-drowsy formula to offer a very calming relief from all types of cough, cold and sore throat. The soothing syrup is made from active ingredients like pure Squill liquid extract, Capsicum tincture
Squill liquid extract helps in thinning the viscous mucus and is used in herbal medicines for treating cough and cold based on traditional use.
Capsicum tincture lends a warm and pleasant flavour to the syrup.
Buttercup Original Cough Syrup can be taken to cure itchy and sore throat, hoarseness associated with cough.
- The recommended dosage for adults and children above the age of 12 years is two5ml) spoonful 3-4 times a day.
- Do not give the syrup to children under the age of 12 years.
- It is not advisable to continue the usage of medicine for more than a week.
Directions for Use:
For oral use only. Shake bottle before use.
Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years:
Two 5ml spoonfuls three times a day and at bedtime, if the cough is troublesome. Do not use for more than one week.
Do not exceed the stated dose.
If exceeded consult your doctor immediately. If difficulty breathing, fever or blood in your saliva occurs, or if symptoms worsen or persist after one week, consult your doctor or qualified health care practitioner.

If you are taking any medicines known to interact with alcohol (e.g. metronidazole)
