This is a complete motor rebuild gasket set with 1-piece style rocker base gaskets. The cam cover gasket is silicone beaded on both sides, and is the design that was used through 1999.

Note: If you have a 2000 or later model, please see another our listings for a kit with the later style cam cover gasket that is needed for 2000-up. Not sure? - then get the newer style because it is backwards-compatible, meaning it can be used for all the model years from 1999 through 2003.

Features: 

  • Head gaskets are graphite on a steel core with a Steel Fire Ring. The graphite/carbon is silicone coated and they have silicone beading on one side.
  • Rocker base gaskets are 1-piece style. 
  • Primary cover gasket is a nominal 0.031" thickness, unbeaded.
  • Cam cover gasket is silicone beaded on both sides. 
  • The four 5/16" valve stem seals are the new easy to install style with spring-loaded Viton rubber. 
  • Exhaust gaskets are compressed knit wire mesh, tapered style. 

    Applications: 

  • 1991-1999 1200cc Sportster engine.
  • If your engine has been converted from 883cc to 1200cc, this is the kit you need to have the correct head gaskets. All other parts are the same for both 883 and 1200.
