Item: Rare Victorian 1875 Sterling Silver Spoon/Beethoven Final James Dixon London.  A wonderful opportunity to purchase Sterling Silver English Victorian 1875 spoon made by James Dixon of London.  The spoons final depicts the bust of Beethoven the Master Composer , standing upon a Victorian music note, these signs were often seen in the stands of the conductors of the period, this then leads onto a half barley twist stem continuing onto a tear drop bowl. Hallmarks to the reverse which are crisp and clear, the spoon has a highly polished silver finish to it’s entirety, the spoon is free from any monograms or personalisation hard to find spoons from this era with this most famous of composers of all time.  For the collector or investor of fine English Silverware would make a fantastic gift.  Carries full set of hallmarks for London.

Condition: light surface marks consistent with age and genuine use, no knocks or dents.  Please note the face of Beethoven has been polished overtime which has disfigured his face, but one can still make out this famous composer.
