Originally published in 1935, this vintage crochet and knitting pattern book contains 11 swing era patterns --- including a spectacular gown (shown on front cover) that would be suitable for a wedding gown. One gown, 3 dresses, 2 blouses, a lacy evening cape, 2 hats, swagger coat, and two piece dress are all detailed in both text and illustrations. Patterns are shown in the pictures. When you click a picture, along the top edge a classification of either a knitting or crochet pattern will show.

Directions for this book are for mixed vintage sizes 16 and 18 -- but don't fret if this isn't your size -- we also provide unbound paper instructions for: 

• basic directions for changing the size of a garment.
• instructions for measuring your body for vintage patterns.
• directions for choosing your size based on body measurements from the late 1800s through the 1950s when corsets and girdles made women thinner.
• fittings guideline chart you can use to adjust patterns to fit tighter or looser based on your own preferences of a snug or loose fit with your clothing.
• knitting/crochet  conversion instructions you can use if you like a specific pattern but are not skilled in knitting/crochet (or vice versa), you can do what you are familiar with.
