Bramcost Vintage Patterns is pleased to offer our line of book patterns for creating fashionable vintage hats. This hat pattern is from our 1940s Vintage Hat Pattern Series collection and fits headsize 21.5, 22, 22.5. Our book patterns are printed on acid free paper (not photo copied or hand drawn) so they will not deteriorate. They are bound in softcover book format for ease of use whether you choose to remove the pattern from the book or trace off the pages. The pattern pieces are sized correctly -- there is no copying, shrinking or enlarging necessary -- pieces are full size and ready to use.

Each pattern in our Vintage Hat Pattern Series contains simple, step-by-step instructions for assembling the paper pattern (contained within the pages of the book), materials required, cutting diagram, directions for assembly, sewing and finishing, reduced size assembly chart and pattern pieces.

Instructions are provided for assembling the pattern using the 8.5 x 11 pages inside the book. Using simple supplies -- tape and scissors -- seven steps complete the pattern assembly. Cutting and triangular reference mark symbols (see pictures) for aligning the pattern are clearly marked on each page. Assembly takes less than 10 minutes once supplies are gathered. This book also inludes a reduced size pattern layout so you can determine exactly how the pattern pieces will look when completed.

Please see images for a sampling of the pages within this pattern book. Be sure to check our other auction listings for more vintage hat patterns and millinery books.
