Book No. 67

Fancy Needlework Illustrated was a quarterly publication specializing in crochet, knitting, embroidery and other needlework. Originally published in the 1920s, this rare issue features illustrations and instructions for making a camisole with ribbon straps, long tank top, "Sunningdale" jumper, "Lismore" jumper, striped sports coat, "Antrim" jumper, water lily triangle, seven crochet motifs, and an embroidered cushion.

This publication is a sweet reminder of 1920s fashion -- classic enough to still be worn today -- with dainty trims to decorate clothing, hats and home.

A sampling of patterns are shown in the pictures. When you click a picture, along the top edge a classification of either a knitting or crochet pattern will show.
