If you turn your microwave on and get arcing or sparks, check the silver card inside your microwave!! (it might look like metal, but it is not.)

If it has turned brown or black and has a hole or crack in it, this might be all you need to fix it!!!

Just carefully remove the card with out breaking it, lay it on top of the new piece and score it with a box knife, cut it out with scissors and replace. With a sharp pair of scissors, it cuts like butter!

This is a very easy replacement job that might save you from having to buy as new microwave!!

You only need about 1/4" size larger than what you are replacing, so I recommend you take the one out of your microwave and measure it completely before ordering.

These are Approximately 4 1/2" x 4 1/4" or 115mm x 108mm (If you need it bigger, let me know before ordering)

If you think you might make a mistake, you can order 2, but It is really tough to make a mistake on this, so you should only need one and they last 5 to 10 years!!

(Plus this is FREE shipping, so if you mess one up, you have nothing to lose!!)

Make sure you keep the inside of your microwave clean of food splatter for longest lasting use!! I recommend getting a microwavable splatter cover after you thoroughly clean the inside of your microwave and change the wave-guard cover.

Easy Directions:

1. Lay old one on top of New

2. Use a sharp box knife to score

3. Note the scored outline

4. Get your sharp scissors ready

5. Cut straight edges

6. Trim rounded corners

7. Check accuracy and replace! Done!

Some wave guard covers have a mounting screw hole, if so, just use a drill and drill bit to make the same size hole.

If it has slots or more difficult cuts, I recommend using a very sharp Exact-O Knife and cutting them out on a scratch-able surface.
