Seat Occupancy Mat Emulator is designed as a quality alternative to bypass faulty seat occupancy mat/pad sensor and turn off the airbag light. It completely simulates the passenger in the seat and re-activates the airbag system making it deploy in case of an accident, therefore, allowing to pass a car test.
Seat Belt Simulator/Bypass (if applicable) is designed to bypass safety belt warning light/alarm which occurs after fitting Seat Mat Emulator as the seat becomes always occupied. Applies to vehicles with factory installed seat belt warning. 

 
After fitting our device seat becomes Always Occupied - Occupied Person.

Compatibility Pre-Check

  • With ignition off move the passenger/driver seat all the way up and lean the seat forward or backwards to gain good access.
  • From the rear under the seat locate usually black colour control unit box. Locate seat occupancy mat plug with white & blue wires connected to it as in picture below.
For some variants control unit may be hidden under the seat cushions. If you can't locate it then please contact us by eBay message and specify the Last 7 Digits of car Chassis, VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) and we will check the compatibility for you.

Installation Note! 

Before installing our emulator(s) it is necessary to check that:

  • the Airbag Light is ON because of a faulty seat occupancy mat
  • Car battery is in fairly new or in good condition & fully charged
  • Car ECU (brain) is free of other airbag light related faults/errors as - belt tensioner/seat belt wires (located under the seatbelt buckle), driver’s/passenger’s airbags, safety battery terminal, airbag control module, etc. as those faults/errors can prevent our device from working properly. In such case please contact and provide those fault/error codes for further assistance.

After installing seat occupancy mat emulator and if applicable seatbelt simulator/bypass if lights (faults) won't reset automatically it has to be reset with diagnostics software. Only then the lights will be off.

With our product installed vehicle will pass Annual Test such as MOT, NCT or any other.

Do Not Risk Yours and Others Safety! Beware of temporary inexperienced sellers offering a bit cheaper or China imported emulators. Those are low-quality products made in the back yard and usually does not occupy/simulate passenger in the seat, therefore, the airbags won't deploy in a case of an accident! Return Policy
Before you return any of our items please make sure to contact us via eBay or email first so that we provide a correct return address for you.
If it appears that you have purchased wrong type item, changed your mind or item does not work as expected we'll be glad to offer replacement or refund within 60 days of receipt. Unfortunately, we can't accept returns after 3 months of receipt. For items returned in broken, damaged condition only partial or no refund will be issued.
Please pack it safely in small/standard size bubble envelope and send it back by standard shipping method as a letter or large envelope, no express or special delivery is necessary. Make sure you include your eBay username, full name, purchase date and the reason for the return, for us to be able to process replacement/refund efficiently.
Opening return request isn’t necessary. Item(s) has to be returned or on its way back before any refund can be processed. Returned items have to be in its original condition with all accessories that were included at the time of purchase. 
In cases where our item(s) after testing will be confirmed as not functioning properly or faulty, we’ll credit your return fees. In other cases, if a device was purchased by mistake or changed your mind buyer himself would be responsible for return fees.
We are unable to provide prepaid return labels for customers outside the UK but we'll still credit your return fees when an item is faulty/damaged.
Please allow us up to 2-3 business days for inspection/testing, replacement or refund after goods are received.
