We have had such good results with this simple design in our aquaponics system that we have decided to make them available for sale here in our Ebay store. This size is intended for a Barrelponics grow bed (5 square feet ) but will probably work on a gb twice that size. If you need one for your IBC size system just click on my store symbol above and check out the larger sizes we list there. We also have shorter ones for your 8" deep or shorter grow beds. We realize that many of you can make your own but it does take the right tools and pipe, etc which can really add up. Unless you are going to need 10 or more like we did, it may not pay to make your own.

What you get is:
One 3" pvc gravel shield x 12" High
One 2" pvc bell x 10" high with cap and pull handle, (looks very cool)
One pair male and female threaded adapter with "o"ring to match for the bulkhead adapter
Two 3/4" 90s
One 6" and one 5" and one 3" pieces of 3/4" pvc pipe
One 3/4" to 1 1/4" adapter for "Bernoulli effect"

Basically what you see in the photos. These are ready to go. All you do is slip them together and install them in your growbeds. Cement not included and not necessary until it is "dialed in" The worst thing you can do is to glue things before they are all tested and ready to go permanent. Take my word for that:-) The first 2 that I made were about an inch too high for the 12" of gravel I planned to use. Having glued it up I would have to remove the gravel and all just to shorten the down tube. There is really no need to glue any of the parts located above the bulkhead fittings, just below if you feel the need. The bell is of course all glued and sealed for you.
