Boss Elements is a fascinating fougere in my opinion.  Filled with  earthy, fruity, woody notes yet and spicy at the same time, this citruses plum-terragon-thyme combination represents the defining quality  of this fragrance in my opinion.  It is unique in that it beautifully balances the sweet and bitter notes in the contrast of its elements, which give it a  dirty, fruity, balsamic impression with a bitter, mentholated undertone which spices the woodsy foundation of cedar, oakmoss and sandalwood.

 Boss elements is a rich earthy cologne and the notes of cedar and tangerine and terrogon combined with plum seems to produce a hint of fine aromatic tobacco to compliment its subtle fruit and spice components and the  and the musky, woody scents deepen this earthy fragrance with rich, masculine and comforting earth notes

In my opinion vintage Boss Elements is a completely different from the modern formulation of Hugo Elements which does not have the plum laden and deeply earthy contrast of Boss Elements.
