100 micron security film; can be applied to any flat glass surface to increase the structural integrity and security of home, office and vehicle glass. Our 100 micron security film creates a 'safety net' which holds shards of glass in place upon impact. This makes it safer for occupants and reduces the risk of vandalism and burglaries. This film is an inexpensive way to upgrade any window and is used worldwide in banks and offices.


The film is easy to install, and can be cut to any shape or size. It is completely clear so does not obstruct vision from inside or out. Will be dispatched in 24hrs of purchase. We also offer fitting tools and installation DVD guides available separately in our shop.

Optically clear film will hold glass together in the event of vandalism, smash and grab raids and break-ins


FITTING INSTRUCTIONS


Tools needed, can be purchased from us:


- knife
- Spray bottle containing water with a few drops of washing up liquid ‘Slip Solution’
- Squeegee


Method:


1) Thoroughly clean the window the film will be applied to.
2) Cut your film to size of the window, adding an extra 2cm to the width and height.
3) Remove the clear lining film from back of the window film and spray the adhesive back of the film, as well as your fingers, with the Slip Solution. Attach a piece of sticky tape to either side of the film at one corner and peel them apart.
4) Spray the glass with the Slip Solution.
5) Apply the adhesive side of the film onto the glass and slide into position.
6) Spray the face of the film with the Slip Solution and using a squeegee, push out all the soapy water from behind the film
7) Trim off any excess film using the knife
