This is a rare signed limited edition original printed production art page for The Gerber Photo-Journal Guide to Comic Books by Ernst Gerber and Mary Gerber from 1989, which is the most comprehensive collection of classic Golden Age comic book covers ever published. This is the page that features 36 classic covers from the legendary G.I. Joe series by Ziff-Davis starting in 1951. The covers depict exciting battle action in "America's Favorite War Comics", and include classic images by legendary artists such as Norman Saunders. The piece is on high quality smooth coated stock, and measures approximately 11 1/8" by 15". It is blank on the reverse side, and is in very good condition, with staple marks near the top left and top right edges. You can see printer color codes ("YMCB") at the bottom left edge, and printer symbols at the middle and corner edges. The page is signed and numbered (12/30) near the lower right corner. This is an exceptional and rare piece of comic production art, that would look great framed, and would be a key addition to the collection of any GI Joe fan.
