Sterling Silver Mobius Bangle Bracelet - The Lord's Prayer NIV

Inscription: Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil for yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.'

The lines of the Gospel of St Matthew, chapter 6, verses 9-13, inscribed on this sterling silver Mobius bangle bracelet, here in the New International Version, are known among the Christian churches as the Lord's Prayer. The words are some of the most well known in the Bible and central to the Christian service.

Named after the German Mathematician August Ferdinand Mobius (1790-1868), the mobius represents the seeming paradox of a plane without end or of one infinite length.  As such, it became a symbol for infinity.  The oval mobius bracelets fit comfortably, turning easily on the wrist, so that the wearer can be reminded of the message at a glance. The engraved message on these bracelets repeats around the plane into infinity.

Sterling Silver Composition
While pure silver can be combined with many different types of metals, sterling silver is created when combining pure silver with copper. Sterling silver jewelry can be composed with different amounts of copper but is most often seen with the .925 stamp, meaning that the composition is of 92.5 percent silver and 7.5 percent copper. This has been found to be a good combination for maintaining the silver's durability without harming its sparkle.

Caring for Your Sterling Silver Jewelry
Silver should not come into contact with harsh household chemicals such as bleach, ammonia, or chlorine. To avoid scratches, store silver in a lined jewelry box or pouch, as it is prone to tarnish as it naturally reacts with sulfur or hydrogen sulfide in the air. Cleaning and wearing silver jewelry regularly will prevent this and help maintain its shine. Immediately upon noticing any discoloration, use a gentle polish cloth made specifically for removing tarnish. Do not use liquid silver cleaners with your silver jewelry.
