This is kit is for any of the following:
1. ProMaster vans with the factory Uconnect radio with 5" display and prewired from the factory all the way to the back of the van with the grey 8 pin connector located above the rear doors.
2. ProMaster vans with the factory Uconnect radio with 5" display without the factory camera prewiring to the rear of the van.
3. ProMaster vans with an aftermarket display radio or mirror with backup camera display capability and without the factory camera prewiring to the rear of the van.
Important: if you have a RAM ProMaster cargo van, camper conversion, or other van with the upfitter backup camera prep option that includes the 8 pin connector at the rear of the van and 3 pin connector behind the radio, see our other items...we have kits specifically for those vans.
For vans with the factory camera prewiring, you'll use the included adapter that plugs into the factory grey 8 pin connector at the back of the van when installing the camera.
For vans without factory camera prewiring, the kit includes a camera power & video harness long enough to reach from the back of the van to the radio location on the dash. This video cable will plug into any aftermarket display radio or rearview mirror that has backup camera input, or, by installing the female RCA adapter into the factory radio connector on vans with the 5" display, you'll be able to connect the video cable directly to the factory UConnect radio.

PLEASE NOTE: Dealer activation is required to make the camera display visible on the factory Uconnect radio (instructions included with the kit).

Purchaser accepts full responsibility for the proper installation of the item & you certify that you are fully capable of properly & safely installing the item you purchased, or you will have the item professionally installed by an individual or company who has the proper technical knowledge & ability to install such items & you agree to hold harmless & release copper_z71 / Bob's Automotive Mirrors & More LLC (hereinafter referred to “the Company”) from any and all liability for any damage caused by such items and/or their installation.
For any item that includes a warranty, the warranty only applies to items sold & installed on vehicles in the United States. WARRANTY IS VOID IF ITEM IS EXPORTED OUTSIDE OF THE USA.
Warranty Policy – Purchaser MUST first contact product manufacturer (NOT THE SELLER) before any warranty consideration will be given. In order to receive warranty consideration, a very specific warranty replacement procedure must be followed. IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THE PROCEDURE, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY WARRANTY CONSIDERATION – NO EXCEPTIONS.
No supposedly defective item may be returned WITHOUT FIRST CONTACTING THE PRODUCT MANUFACTURER. Product manufacturer will determine if the item is defective & in need of replacement.
If a replacement item is requested PRIOR to the return of a supposedly defective item, purchaser must pay for the replacement item including shipping and will then receive a refund for the purchase price of item only after defective item has been returned.
If a replacement item is not requested prior to the return of the supposedly defective item, then the purchaser must first ship the defective item, with shipping the responsibility of the purchaser, back to the Company. After receipt of the supposedly defective item, a replacement item will be shipped to purchaser within 5 to 7 business days, with shipping the responsibility of the purchaser.
Warranty does not cover labor and other costs incurred for the removal or reinstallation of the product, or damage to the vehicle’s electrical system.
Warranty does not cover shipping charges to return the defective item or for the replacement item.
Items returned that are not found to be defective will be returned to purchaser, with shipping charges the responsibility of the purchaser.
For any items that are shipped to the Company, you are responsible for the item until we receive it. This means that if it is lost or damaged in transit and it was not insured, you will not be covered for the loss or damage.
This Warranty does not apply to any product or part thereof which has been damaged through alteration, improper installation, mishandling, misuse, neglect, or accident.
The extent of the Company’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product and, in no event shall the company’s liability exceed the purchase price paid by the purchaser for the product.
IF YOU DISAGREE WITH ANY OF THE ABOVE TERMS & CONDITIONS, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM.
IMPORTANT: This item has free return privileges. We understand there are times when you purchase an item and then change your mind and want to, or for other reasons, need to return an item. However, please understand that we reserve the right to reduce the amount of the refund, or in some cases, completely refuse a return, for items that are returned in less than 100% as-new and completely intact and undamaged condition. All parts, pieces, components, hardware, instructions, original packaging, and so on, must also be returned in order to be eligible for a full refund. Additionally, in order to receive a full refund, the item must be in perfect shape as originally received & must not have been installed or attempted to have been installed. Buyers found to be abusing the free return policy will be reported to eBay and such actions can lead to suspension from or being banned completely from eBay.
