You are buying this great little tester/module bypass unit used for testing faulty modules on the most network (infotainment/radio)

This is for Touch Screen 05 MY onwards only. NOT the earlier BMW system.

Normally water gets into the boot where all the most network modules are mounted.

The first thing you know is the little LED starts flashing and the touch screen and the Land Rover Logo gets stuck on causing the radio not to work and vehicle battery's to go flat etc..

Simply plug this in to the fibre optic cable on the various modules 1 at time until the system is back up and working.

This will allow you to work out which module is at fault.

9 times out 10 it is the Bluetooth module as the water runs in here first.

You can leave this in line as a permanent fix if you don't use the phone/ Bluetooth or it can be used temporarily to get your network up and running until you get a new module.

Please note: This tester doesn't replace functionality of the bypassed module e.g. if you put it in place of the phone, you will have no phone or Bluetooth.

If you put it in place of the TV, you will have no TV.

If you put in place of the Amp, you will get not sound etc...

I am not guarantying this will get you system up and running as there are other reasons for the most system not to work but this is a very very common problem. 

If nothing else it will help you diagnose your problem rather than guessing!
