Umbrella Revolution :: Revolutionize the way to clean vinyl records.

There used to be a few ways to clean vinyl records: brushes, scrubs, and vacuum. In order to loosen dirt, residue, and other contaminants from the disc surface, the standard approach employs scrubbing brushes. Instead of removing the dirt, it gets forced even deeper into the grooves, or spread across the entire disc surface or worst of all, damages the disc surface. Vacuum is useful to remove surface dusts, but it lacks the power to go deep.

The LP Umbrella ® allows you to apply your preferred cleansing fluid and then run fast water to achieve deep cleansing. The LP Umbrella is a great accessory for Loricraft, VPI or Nitty Gritty cleaning machine. If you do not have a record cleaning machine for drying, you may use any lint-free soft cloths to do the job.

The LP Umbrella ® helps you remove stubborn stains and fungus. Here is how.

  • Apply record cleansing fluid for a couple minutes.
  • Flush the record with jet of water.
  • Flush the record with distilled water.
  • Let it dry.

Note: Cleansing won’t repair damaged record which was scratched or damaged by worn out stylus. Worn out stylus cuts out high frequency grooves. The damage is permanent. Typical life span of diamond stylus is 1000 hours. So check your stylus under a microscope if possible or simply replace it after 1000 hours of use. With proper maintenance of stylus, your beloved records will serve you for a life time.
