This beautiful Viking Wolf Head Pendant was inspired by ancient Viking artwork and designs found in dig sites across Northern Europe. It was created in the Viking art style known as Borre, which was named after the Norwegian locality (9th - 10th Century). Often times, Viking wolf heads were depictions of Fenrir, the monstrous wolf of mythology that battles and slays Odin during Ragnarok (the end of the world). Wolves also symbolize Strength, Endurance, and Freedom. This wolf head pendant is made of pewter, and measures about 2.2 x 4 cm, or about 1.57 inches. A genuine leather cord is included with the pendant.
