Here up for sale is a set of 2 AJ's brand black sponge donut tires from the late 1960s to early '70s, part # HO-4.  They are unused, with the sponge probably being fairly dried out from age.  Still sealed on the card.  Tires measure about 1/4" i.d. by 5/8" o.d. by 7/32" wide.

Back in the day, to use them often they were glued onto 1/4" hubs and then trued down to the desired diameter for use with TJet or early AFX type cars.  Nice for the collector as-is, or restoring an old car to a customized appearance with tires from that period.
