Product Description:  This listing is for a brand new, Victor-Reinz (OEM) oil cooler seal for various Audi and Volkswagen applications including Jetta, Golf, Beetle, Passat, A4, A6, etc.  This is a specially-molded, oil-resistant o-ring seal that fits between the oil cooler and the oil filter adapter. There are two perforated guide tabs on the inner portion to help hold the seal in place during installation.  Order by 3:00PM Pacific time, and this ships out the same day!

Specifications:  The seal measurements are 70mm OD, 59mm ID, and 5mm thick. The distance between the two perforated tabs is 55mm.

Tech Notes:  If you see an oil leak from the oil filter adapter / oil cooler area, this is a likely culprit. Over time, the rubber seal becomes flattened, hard, and brittle, giving rise to oil leaks.  Gasket sealant (like RTV silicone) should NOT be used when installing this oil cooler seal.  All surfaces should be clean and free of debris prior to installing a new gasket.
