Probes to use with Bell-5170 meter: transverse probe STH17-0404, axial probe SAH17-1904.
Probes to use with Bell-5180 meter: transverse probe STD18-0404, axial probe SAD18-1904.
"Axial" probes measure the magnetic field parallel to the probe stem. "Transverse" probes measure the field perpendicularly across the probe flat surface
(Note: if you are buying the 5170 or 5180 gaussmeter it already Includes a probe at no extra cost, so you dont need to order the probe separately if buying the meter).
