Up for sale is a precision cut replacement chrome colored mirror acrylic truss rod cover that will fit the standard Japanese factory holes for an RG550 and Jem guitars.   

.118" (2.9972mm)  thick.  This thickness is important.  Please make sure you have at least this much clearance to install your truss rod cover.  If you do not have the means to measure or perform rudimentary modifications (both in terms of the thickness and the published mounting hole dimensions), you must consult with a qualified technician before attempting to do any changes to your guitar.  Truss rod cover installation is not rocket science, but it is an operation that does require patience, skill and intelligence.
