(1)    Make up a solution in a spray bottle of around 1 teaspoon amount of washing up liquid to ½ a litre of water

(2)    Ensure the surface to be applied is very clean and free of contaminants

(3)    Carefully cut the vinyl to a size slightly larger than the surface to be covered to the film is now ready to be applied . Separate a corner of the vinyl from the backing paper.

(4)    Thoroughly spray the surface to be covered with the application solution this will hold the film while you remove the backing paper. Place the film side onto the the area with the paper liner facing you. From the already separated corner peel off the paper liner.

(5)    Spray the adhesive surface liberally with the application solution (You can't use too much solution)

(6)    Carefully reverse the film so that the surface you are covering now has the adhesive side in contact with the surface. (You need to keep the film straight and not allow any film to curl onto itself or wrinkle as a crease or wrinkle won't come out when applying.

(7)    Carefully position the film by sliding gently on the wet surface and smoothing out any large air bubbles.

(8)    Spray the film with the application solution and use a squeegee / smooth flat edged item (Creditcard) to push out the remaining liquid behind the film.

First Stroke should be horizontal across the top of the surface.

Next stroke should be downwards from one edge then working down and away from the previous stroke until the entire surface has been covered with strokes.

Final strokes should be from the centre out to the edges to remove any remaining liquid.
