Medium weight cotton interlock knit is perhaps the softest material ever made, and the best cloth for total comfort, like the fabric of a t-shirt.  A soft fabric that drapes has a casual relaxed look and feel, and is never stiff.  Pure 100% cotton natural fiber cloth has no added synthetic fibers and is machine washable.  It's best to launder on a gentle cycle in a lingerie bag, and hang on hanger to dry, or dry flat on a towel, but can be dried in the dryer on low heat.  Minimal shrinkage.

The intricate but sturdy computerized embroidery is Ariadne Heirloom's own lace pattern, and machine stitched on organic woven cotton.  Looking at this eyelet lace is a wonderful lesson in pattern and texture for a baby.  Flatten out the wet lace with your fingers to smooth it out after washing.  Press damp lace with a warm iron for a new and crisp look, or just go with the natural wrinkled look.

The soft creamy white is not as yellow as ivory, and not a stark bright white.  The color is not optically brightened, and no chlorine bleach is used.  You may brighten with non-chlorine bleach.  The color is close to PANTONE 11-0701 TPX Whisper White.  Check the color by searching the Pantone color-finder online.
