This listing is for starwheels made by Simon Shimomura, known as Mr. Ambassadeur
These Starwheels work on many Ambassadeur reels from 1500C size up to 6600C models but not 12, 20, 30, and 7000 and larger model numbers. Yes, you can put it on not only for classic Ambassadeur reels but also for current models as well. But be aware that your handle arm must be straight!

* Aluminum anodized 50mm starwheels in factory seconds were added.
They pieces were suffering from pinhead like dings, or hairline scratches under the anodizing. Prices for these items were reduced.
Buyers understand the conditions for these items when you are buying.

I don't carry any starweels for large Ambassadeur reels such as 7000, 8000, and 9000.

Don't know which one to order? Ask Simon and tell your objectives.

*38mm, and 50mm tear drop red starwheels are dead stock items, as well as 4 fingers, 60mm both in black black are ABU's dead stock made in Sweden. Any other items are Simon's custom made items and they are made in USA.

Chrome plated items, as well as 24K gold plated CDL items are made from brass alloy. Anodized items are made from aluminum alloy. Sizes of starwheels are identified by metric system as they were designed and developed in Sweden.

** Red starwheels are all original. However they may be missing a very small amount of anodize around the edges between fingers as they were taken out from the plastic bags while stored at the repair store. Thus, prices are already reduced.

***Due to a technical reason, some image does not pop up on the screen for instance like 60mm Black anodized item.
If you are interested in the particular item and the actual image does not pop up, contact me and I will send you the picture.

I have added two different Striper 60mm (oversize) starwheels made by ABU today (6/23/22).

These items are not well-designed as it is not easy to adjust or remove spool cap. I have designed my own that makes things smoother and easier. Check them out.

Chrome 50mm Tear Drop F-2 :reverse side (back side) is not buffed. Missing some buffing between fingers.
