Cox Superscale Datsun 260Z Anglewinder, ~1973, 1/32 to 1/43 Scale Runner

Here up for sale is a used Cox 'Superscale' Datsun 260Z anglewinder from the early to mid '70s.  The window posts have damage, with the right post broken away and missing at the top 7/32" area, and the left post having a crack at the top and another crack and bend about 1/8" below the top.   The rear side window posts have broken away and missing top parts of the posts.  The front windshield has a crack near the top on the left side as shown.  The wheelbase is slightly under 2+ 5/8" and the width at the rear wheels is 2.0", with the overall width measured at the pans is about 1+ 13/16".  The rear tires are 5/8" o.d.  This scale was advertised in 1973 as being "twice the size of HO", and is likely somewhere between 1/32 and 1/43 scale.  The brass pans show a little corrosion in spots.

The motor has been tested and runs.  The car is designed for Cox black "1" type controllers, but will work with many types of controllers, even HO AFX ones with Aurora HO powerpacks since the motors are basically HO Mabuchi type motors.  Nice for a runner.
