AFX Super III Chassis #1801, Unused with Green Wire Blue Lamination Drag Arm

Here up for sale is a lightly used non-magnatraction AFX Super III chassis with the green wire/ blue lamination 'drag' style armature.  Comes with a 19 tooth Super II type crown gear, red and white magnets, and a black steel weight pan that doubles as front body mount if you add some tubing through the front side hole areas.  Pan is marked with part number 1801-010 and shows some imperfection marks and chips in the factory black paint.  Motor works.  Crown gear has been adjusted by turning down the diameter and/or boss or adding a spacer to give proper gear mesh.  These were made for a short time in the early '70s as a lower cost alternative to the AFX Super II.  A set of silicone rear tires will be included since the original rubber ones have dried out from age.  Nice unusual item for the collector.
