A photoresistor or light dependent resistor (LDR) is a resistor whose resistance decreases with increasing incident light intensity; in other words, it exhibits photoconductivity.  

These low-cost, high-quality photoresistors are ready for integration in your project!  The lead spacing of 0.2" and flexible leads allows for compatibility with breadboards, Arduino and nearly any standard socket.
