The Turquoise Mountain Mine is located near the Kingman mine in Northwestern Arizona and has been closed since the 1980's.  The stone varies from light to high blue or blue-green with gold or brown matrix. The beautiful, tear drop shaped Turquoise Mountain stone in this ring is a stunning light blue to more blue-green near the bottom. It is surrounded by a masterfully crafted bezel of twisted silver rope. Hallmarked "J. S." and ".925" by  Navajo artist Sampson Jake. His initials are reversed so as not to be confused with Navajo artist Selina Jake. The stone and bezel measures 7/8" by 1/2". (R4204)
