This bell
pepper was introduced in 1965 by the Asgrow Seed Company. It is resistant to
tobacco mosaic virus(TMR). This is a gardener’s favorite and used by many
families either fresh, roasted, stuffed or in salads.
This
pepper is fairly low maintenance and is easy to grow. It has deep green glossy
lobes that will turn red at full maturity.
The
mature fruit is 4” x 4 1/2” in size.
Growing
any pepper seeds take special care. The soil temp has to reach 75° - 85° for
germination. It is suggested that you start your seeds in a sunny window
indoors or in a greenhouse type environment.
While
most seeds will germinate in 21-28 days, some may take up to 35 days for
germination. Be patient when growing peppers from seed.
Soak
your seeds overnight in water before starting. Some people use a 3:2 ratio of
bleach to water soaking them for 20 minutes to prompt the seeds to germinate.
Plant
outdoors once the danger of frost is gone and the average daytime temperature
is 80°.
Place
much around your plants to retain water as well as keeping the weeds at bay.

All of our seeds have been hand processed, packaged and tested for germination rates. I add padding to each envelope for added protection. The seed will arrive in plastic zip-lock bags that can be resealed for your convenience.
Due to individual growing environments, I cannot guarantee the rate of germination will match what I have tested at. All seeds are labeled with growing information.
